Rolling Stones To Release Tracks On USB Stick
Written by Joanna Cole | Wednesday, October 24, 2007 |
The Rolling Stones are to release their 1975 retrospective ‘Rolled Gold’ on new formats including a USB stick.
The album originally released in ‘75, will be re-released on 5th November and will include all the original tracks as well as 12 that were not included on the initial release.
‘Rolled Gold+’ will be the first album to be released on USB memory card in the UK.
The album includes hits such as, ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, and ‘I Wanna Be Your Man’ - which was written for the band by Beatles legends John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
The album will also be available on an environmentally friendly deluxe double jakebox pop-up case and traditional digital download formats.
Pierre Perrone - Rolling Stones expert has written extensive liner notes for the record and the release will feature a track by track breakdown of the tunes by a number of industry figureheads.
