London based producing duo The Nextmen have been impressing many since releasing their stunning third album ‘This was Supposed To Be The Future’, and with DJ-ing sets at Glastonbury, Big Chill and as residents at Jade Jaggers’ Jezebel Ibiza club nights, their new single is sure to take this talented due to the next level.
The Nextmens’ new single, off third album ‘This Was Supposed To Be The Future’, is a track that would sound perfect played in late-August nights. Sadly for us, it’s now October and summer (or the lack of it) is but a distant memory.
Fortunately for The Nextmen (aka Dom Search and Brad Baloo), ‘Something Got You’ is still a great song and features fantastic vocals from rising star Zarif. The as-yet-unsigned London singer has a hauntingly beautiful voice and displays her natural talent without the need for unnecessary vocal gymnastics. The track, about a relationship that’s gone sour, has a wonderfully soulful feel, and is sure to be a big hit for The Nextmen.
