Middleman are a four-piece from Leeds who have been gaining a lot of fans during 2007.
With airplay from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq these guys have had a fantastic year and have been touring constantly throughout the year, with further dates until December.
Following on from the success of their debut single ‘Blah Blah Blah’, they release ‘Good To Be Back’ this month.
Four-piece Middleman’s catchy hooks and bouncy choruses scream fun, and their new single ‘Good to be Back’ is perfect dance around your living room material.
Once you have heard the snappy lyrics, “please take me away, it’s so good to be back”, you will be singing along to the three minute jaunt, that traces Middleman’s escape from “no man’s land”. ‘Good to Be Back’ is colourful pop combined with rap-funk without loosing any of its Northern charm. The focus is on fun, a trait that has been missing in music lately, and it is all the better for it.
