The MTV Europe Music Awards took place tonight in the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany. Hosted by Snoop Dogg and Foo Fighters the event saw the stars gather to hear the results.

Avril Lavigne came away a double winner after picking up awards for ‘Most Addictive Track’ and ‘Solo Artist 2007′, while Kanye West missed out on best video to Justice for the second year running.

Amy Winehouse picked up ‘Artists Choice’ award, but her live performance will be the most talked about thing from tonight. (see seperate story)
