Queens Of The Stone Age - Make It Wit Chu

Queens Of The Stone Age consistently produce great rock songs and have been doing so for the past decade.
The defining moment for the band was the huge success they achieved with third album ‘Songs For The Deaf’, joined by Grohl on drums, Homme and the guys produced one of the most eagerly awaited albums of the 2002.
Queens have had many a line-up change and have worked with hugely experienced and talented musicians, including Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees), Julian Casablancas (The Strokes) and Matt Cameron (Soundgarden).
They released their 5th studio album ‘Era Vulgaris’ this year and are to release new single ‘Make It Wit Chu’ on the 26th November.
The single ‘Make It Wit Chu’ is an amalgamation of sleaze, dirt, blues and rock n roll - no change there then but it is one of the mellowest songs I’ve heard from these guys. However the track isnt a new one, it comes straight from the bands early ‘Desert Sessions’ (pre ‘Rated R’) and some reviewers need to understand that the so called ‘change’ they keep defining as failed diversity, is the sound that cemented early Queens so that they could produce albums like ‘Rated R’ and ‘Songs For The Deaf’.
I saw someone on YouTube describe the single as the ‘best fuck song ever’, and as crudely as he put it, he was right. The song is the sexiest Queens track so far. The dark sultry piano with Hommes powerful voice creates a very alluring single.
The song is a hit with fans of the Queens ‘Desert sessions’ and is set to further increase the success of QOTSAs’ album. The song was performed with Cee Lo from Gnarls Barkley at the VMAs this year and has also been performed with PJ Harvey.
