Cap America and Thor Paves Way For Avengers Movie

With Iron Man nearly completed, rumours are already doing the rounds about Jon Favreau’s next Marvel project.

With Iron Man signed up for three movies, it’s pretty sure he will be involved in some way with Iron Man 2, but he has also suggested that an Avengers movie is a possibility!

“I’d love to, if the experience is as good as this,” said Favreau. With inside knowledge of  Marvel studios, he knows the company’s mission statement for establishing all the heroes who make up the crime fighting team.

“They still have to make a few more movies, because Avengers has the Hulk in it and Thor and Captain America and Iron Man. So I think they want to, according to Kevin Feige over there, they want to get a chapter in each of the heroes before they start playing with the idea of combining them. But I think it’s very smart that they’re thinking of cross-pollinating between different characters like they have always done in the comic books.”

“Now, because they control all of these different characters, there can be that sort of freewheeling interplay between the movies and characters that gives it that spontaneous feel in the books.”
