Girls Aloud Split… Sarah Harding To Go Solo?

There is always rumours of bands splitting when they have been around for a while and are so successful.

So the latest news, that a ‘close source’ has revealed that Sarah Harding would be leaving Girls Aloud to pursue a solo career, comes as no surprise!

The supposed close source said: “Sarah has had her eye on her future for a long time. She knows girl bands only have a short shelf-life and that the dream can’t last for ever.”

“She has gone to the best in the business to see if they would be interested in masterminding her solo career. She has her heart set on being Britain’s answer to Kylie Minogue.”

Thankfully for Girls Aloud fans these rumours have been denied by Sarah herself via the bands website.

“Hey everyone, how’s it going? I’ve just got back from an amazing holiday in Thailand to find out that I’m leaving the band! The media have been slow this year, haven’t they? There are normally rumours of us splitting much earlier in the year! Of course, I’ve got no intention of going solo. Why would i? I’m so excited about 2008. We’ve got the new single which we filmed the video for last week, as well as the tour and a whole lot more that I can’t tell you! Ignore the rumours, they’re never true! Thanks for all your support for 2008! Lots of Love, Sarah. x x”
