Victoria To Pursue Fashion Career
Written by Joanna Cole | Tuesday, February 5, 2008 |
Well . . . I’m gutted. I cried the first time and I fear, as I didn’t get to see the girls this time round either, I’m going to cry again.
And all in the name of fashion . . . or so that’s what Posh is blaming it on. Yes, it seems Posh spice has finally realised she’s not the performing type and is said to be concentrating on her status as a fashion icon more these days.
“I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry,” she told the News of The World.
“I’m putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month. It’s the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together.”
Beckham is said to be reinventing herself as a fashion designer and admitted she only agreed to the reunion for her kids.“The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once.”
Victoria also said she was ‘nervous’ returning to the group as she didn’t want to give out a confused message. However as I’m glued to the red tops I can tell you that apparently Victoria’s desire for the group comeback and success started furious arguments leading to the collapse of the newly reformed girl band.
Rumours flying about have depicted a Posh spice gripping on to what was left of her old band days, arranging a group tattoo session that back fired, with the poor WAG left all on her own outside David Beckhams tattooist. Statements from the band have implied that ‘family commitments’ and solo careers have caused the cancellations, with Mel C intent on pursuing solo success and Emma Bunton missing her young son, however ticket sales in the southern hemisphere have not been so impressive as those in the UK and US and the tour would not be economical.
What ever the truth is at east it’ll stop them from releasing another flog like ‘Headlines’. . .
