Past

Briefly, how and when did you form?
The band was originally formed by Maya back in 2004/05 and it was 3 girls. Then toni swiftly joined after being told he was a great guitarist who had a van and could drive to gigs ;)! I joined about 1year and 3 months ago when maya contacted me on myspace. It simply read, “I hear you play keyboards, i may have an intersting propostition for you?!”… Matt joined when toni he found him as he had a nice guitar and toni found paul somewhere.

Describe your style in 3 words
Electro glam rock

How was your 2007?

Highlights
What a year! Our album was released in september and we went on a full uk tour - 35 dates up and down the country. British music week in germany - cologne and berlin. Paris with IAMX. And of course the 02 festival in london and leeds. Playing to 3500 people in hyde park with all them cheering your name is such a buzz.

- Lowlights
There hasn’t been that many… Umm… Maybe not enough press, but you know, there is always 2008!

Who has been your favourite band of 2007?
Favourite band of 2007… I would say thieves like us or crystal castles but i dont know if they are from 2007?!

Present

What are you up to at the moment?
Getting in the christmas spirit. Mulled wine, ginger biscuits - you know the drill!

Who are you listening to at the moment?
At the moment i am currently listening to john cooper clarke, but i have been mostly re-discovering my love for yeah yeah yeahs.

What do you do when you’re not playing out?
Either tweeking in my studio, chillaxing, seeing friends, having some beers… The usual really. And the occasional DJ set as i like to think i am a dj too!

Where can people get your tunes?
Pretty much everywhere in the UK. Album - Ribbed music for the numb generation

Future

What do you have planned for 2008?
SXSW festival and to go over to Japan, France, Germany and Belgium. I think the French are really getting us and I am hoping we are going to big out there!

Who do you think will be the next big thing in 2008?
French kids will want white winkle pickers with Cuban heels like mine!

What will be the next big thing in 2008 in terms of scene?
scene… I think bands like the teenagers are going to be big.
