Agyness Deyn tops Best Dressed List
After a two-year reign, style queen Kate Moss has been knocked off the top spot in Tatler’s Best Dressed List. Model of the moment Agyness Deyn has stolen the crown, being described by the magazine as “fash-fabulous” and “rockin”.
It’s another high point for 25 year old Deyn, who is already the face of Burberry and Georgio Armani, and muse to designer Henry Holland. Described by Christopher Bailey, creative director of Burberry, as “the girl everyone wants to be”, she won Model of the Year at the 2007 British Fashion Awards, and had an ‘it’ bag named after her (Mulberry’s ‘Agyness’).
Now knocking Moss off her ‘most stylish’ throne is further evidence of Britain’s new love affair with the chip-shop-worker-turned-model. Watch out for more copies of her effortless nu-rave style and platinum blonde crop to start appearing over the next few months.
