Avril Designs Appeal to Rock Teens

Avril Lavigne to trade skater-boi wear for high fashion.
The recently-married pop star revealed her plans to launch her own fashion line today. The singer will be working in partnership with top American retailer Kohl’s Corp on a collection named ‘Abbey Dawn‘ which is aimed at rock star-wannabe teens.
Avril joins the long list of celebrities-turned-fashion designers including Gwen Stefani and Jessica Simpson.
Michelle Roback, a Sales Executive with Jerry Leigh, the licensing company involved in the new range said:”Avril is very involved in everything from design to all the production, We looked at her closet, she worked with our design team, shopped the stores, and we came up with a trend forecast with her.”
It is expected the collection will be sold in Kohl stores by July.
