This week I have chosen something a little different. The song is from The Licks second album ‘Four on the Floor‘, released in 2006, The Licks released two singles ‘Hot Kiss‘ and ‘Sticky Honey‘ here in the UK both reaching the top 100 in the singles chart.
So here it is, 5 kids from America, at a talent show, covering Juliette & The Licks tune ‘Get Up’ (a huge favourite here at The Dish). Not expecting much? Watch this!

Amazing huh? How a nine year old girl can belt out that one I’ll never know.
The amazing (in our opinion) album features Dave Grohl on drums and provides a stunning chunk of proper rock music. The band performed with Dave’s band Foo Fighters in Hyde Park in 2006 and have previously played Indigo2 and Kings College in London.
