Ever feel like your makeup bag is in need of a facelift? Ashamed to dig out your grotty old lipgloss in front of the nightclub mirrors? Good news – Toshikazu Iwaya, the creative genius behind fashion label Dress Camp, is launching a limited edition makeup collection with beauty giants MAC.

Known for his bold prints and glitzy metallics, Iwaya has transferred his disco-trash brand values into a makeup range you’ll be hard pushed to ignore. “We are both known for incredible colour in our individual lines,” he says of the partnership. “This collaboration has allowed me to express Dress Camp’s point of view and style in a new form.”

The Dress Camp fashion label was an instant success, winning Best Newcomer at the Mainichi Fashion Awards, and Moet et Chandon New Designer Award. And this first collection of makeup oozes the style and fabulousness its namesake is famous for. With its flashy zebra print and gold packaging, it really is worth owning just to give your makeup bag a style fix. The range is, after all, described as “bold and gold” – but the theme applies to more than just the casing.

The face palette consists of three eyeshadows and a blusher, each colour with shiny-happy names like ‘Sunny Girl’ (a frosty yellow gold) and ‘Golden Gold’ (a deep golden bronze). The lipstick is confidently named ‘Too Fab’, and there’s two Lipgloss colours (yellow-gold and mid-tone pink) to choose from.

The range is available exclusively to Harvey Nichols London from 10th April – and with prices starting at just £10.50, there’s really no excuse not to indulge in a bit of Iwaya glam. Make sure you get yours before they’re gone.
