Versace Expanding Presence in Asia this year
CEO of Versace, Giancarlo Di Risio is expanding the brand’s presence in Asia this year with 11 stores opening on the continent by the end of 2008.
Di Risio sees the new openings as, “the strategic objective of establishing the Asian market as the second most important in terms of turnover, after Europe.”
He has pledged a 45 million Euro investment push as Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Mainland China are all earmarked for development. Two new stores will also open in Europe, including the first dedicated Versace Home outlet, in Milan.
