The Futureheads Return Without Record Label

Sunderland’s finest post – punkers The Futureheads are set to return with a new album, despite no longer being signed to a major record label. The new album ‘This Is Not The World‘ will be released by the band, with no support from a record label, in May.
The first single from the album, ‘The Beginning of the Twist‘ which was released at the start of March, charted at #20 in the official UK Top 40. The single is currently available on CD and 2 vinyls, along with a downloadable version. A download of the single as recorded live in 10 different cities on the band’s last UK tour is also available.
The release of the album will be preceded by another single, “Radio Heart”, which will come out shortly before the album. In support of the new album, The Futureheads will be heading out on another UK Tour, beginning in May. Dates are:
