Northern Rockers Milburn Split

It looked like at one point this band would overtake the Arctic Monkeys and steal the limelight away from them. Instead it has been announced that Milburn will split after just two years of playing together.
The statement on their website reads: “It may not come as a great surprise to many of you but unfortunately after much consideration we’ve decided that Milburn has run it’s course. There’s been no malice or falling out between us and we still remain friends and supporters of each other as we move on and explore new musical horizons.”
It’s the last you will see of the band as a whole (who had hits like ‘Send in the Boys’ and ‘Cheshire Cat Smile’) but you can see that they have given their fans some hope of creating music with new people. The last gig will take place at Sheffield Academy on the 24th of May.
