Written by Jess Collings | Friday, April 4, 2008 |
Electro/Disco MySpace protégé, Calvin Harris, appears to be the latest victim of the Heathrow Terminal 5 baggage crisis with the loss of his laptop; a laptop containing the only copy of his new album, the follow up to his debut album “I Created Disco”.
A spokesperson for Harris’ label confirmed the report for the BBC, adding that “it is a big cause for concern - months of work have gone into that”.
On Harris’s Myspace blog he wrote “This is not good news for me, I have been walking in circles for a couple of days” The loss of the album, which is said to include collaborations with the likes of Dizzee Rascal, has provoked the Heathrow to offer 750 pounds in compensation for the 7 months of recording time put into the album.
