Billy Crudup is a man with a lot going for him at the moment. The star of Justin Theroux’s debut movie ‘Dedication‘ is next going to be hitting our screens as massive blue scientist Dr. Manhattan in the 2009 adaptation of Alan Moore’s graphic novel ‘Watchmen’. But we already knew that.
Right after that movie is done, Crudup will be starring as none other than much-maligned FBI head J. Edgar Hoover alongside Hollywood heavyweights Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in Michael Mann’s upcoming ‘Public Enemies’ project.
The movie is set in 1930s gangland, with Depp as crook legend John Dillinger and Bale as FBI agent Melvin Purvis. Michael Mann fave Stephen Lang will also be starring. Filming is already underway, with the film expected to be finished next year.
