Straight-to-vinyl Release For Young Knives

The Young Knives will be releasing a special version of their new single, “Turn Tail“, which has been recorded directly onto vinyl. The acoustic version of the song was recorded at Westbourne Studios in London in one take, using a process that hasn’t been used commercially since the 1970’s, in order to get the track directly onto vinyl.
The acoustic version will feature only on the 7″ vinyl release of the single, with the CD and digital download featuring the original version of the song.
Singer Henry Dartnall said, “We recorded it in a very dry way and we were suffering a bit from the [recent UK] tour, but it was definitely an interesting thing to do. Obviously it is also double geeky, but then that’s Young Knives for you - massive geeks.”
“Turn Tail” is set to be released on May 19th 2008.
