Bowie delighted with Last Shadow Puppets

David Bowie has declared his delight at the Last Shadow Puppets cover of one of his songs. As previously reported, the duo, comprised of Alex Turner and Miles Kane, will be releasing a cover of Bowies “In The Heat of the Morning” as the b - side to their first single.
On hearing the song, Bowie posted on his official website, www.davidbowie.com, saying “That’s a delight! How lovely. A daymaker.”
The cover of the Bowie rarity will feature as a b - side to the Last Shadow Puppets single “Age of the Understatement”, which is due to be released on April 14th.
