Amsterdam-based fashion brand, Viktor & Rolf, will soon find new roots in London’s Barbican Art Gallery as part of a new exhibition, entitled The House of Viktor & Rolf.

This is the first time in the United Kingdom that an exhibition has been devoted to this highly influential duo. Over the past 15 years Viktor & Rolf have taken the fashion world by storm with their particular blend of cool irony and surreal beauty.

“For us, fashion is an antidote to reality”-Viktor &Rolf. Spoken like a true modern artist, it’s no wonder why Barbican wanted a piece of their talent for this future exhibit! The House of Viktor & Rolf will display each of the designer’s signature pieces from 1992 to now. But like their over-the-top runway shows, this characteristically theatrical installation will dominate the entire Gallery-and it doesn’t stop there.

The Barbican Art Gallery Shop will be selling a range of Viktor & Rolf designed accessories, clothes and a special edition perfume! Wearable art… is there any other kind?

Make sure to visit The House of Viktor & Rolf from June 18 to September 21. For further information, call 0845 1216825 or visit www.barbican.org.uk/artgallery.
