Underworld Announce New Radio Shows

Rick Smith and Karl Hyde of Underworld are set to broadcast a set of shows live on www.underworldlive.com. The shows follow on from the duos stint as stand-in presenters for John Peel when he was on holiday in October 2004. Peel’s death on this holiday inspired Hyde and Smith to carry on developing their interest in radio.
Underworld began broadcasting live audio and video footage on the internet in 2005, and these were the first of many live sets to be broadcast over the internet, with their performance at the Cocoon Club in Frankfurt in 2006 being shown in full - frame TV resolution. This performance was seen by 20,000 fans worldwide.
The new broadcasts will be available exclusively at www.underworldlive.com, and they can be heard as live streams or on demand. Negotiations are also taking place to organise the quarterly shows to go out on a number of key radio stations worldwide.
Broadcast dates are:
11th June 2008, 6pm (UK)
10th September 2008, 6pm (UK)
10th December 2008, 6pm (UK)
11th March 2008, 6pm (UK)
And thereafter on the second Wednesday of each June, September, December and March.
