The follow up to the A-listed track Propane Nightmares, this is Pendulums’ 3rd release from In Silico…so how did it compare to the previous track…a little weak I thought. Original and Radio mixes sound quite bland and generic, really lacking something.
There is hope with this single though, the VIP and dubstep mixes, personally I LOVED the VIP mix of Propane Nightmares and this mix of The Other Side is definitely better than the original mixes, it actually goes somewhere, but maybe not the same direction as Propane Nightmares.
My favourite mix from the single is the dubstep remix, very dirty sounding, this remix gets my vote!
Maybe I’m just looking for another Tarantula, which this certainly isn’t, in all it’s an average single which is growing on me slightly as i listen to it more, but Pendulum can do alot better than this!
