Wild In The Country Cancelled!
Thursday, July 3, 2008 | No Comments »
Stately Events Ltd have announced Wild In The Country festival, due to be held at Knebworth House this weekend has been cancelled, just days after the announcement that Bjork had pulled out.
The official statement reads:
Stately Events Ltd is extremely disappointed to announce the cancellation of the Wild in the Country festival at Knebworth Park on Saturday 5th July.
The cancellation is due to lower than expected ticket sales and a key investor withdrawing at the last minute, leaving the event in an unsustainable position.
This is a very sad conclusion to our passionate efforts to develop an interesting and credible addition to the UK festival market. Unfortunately, Wild in the Country has become the latest in a series of festivals that have suffered from a unique and well-documented set of market forces this summer.
We did everything possible to make the event happen and would like to apologise to all those who have purchased tickets, and for the inconvenience this cancellation may have caused.
The Organisers will make every effort to ensure that ticket purchases will be refunded.

Monday, June 30, 2008 | 1 Comment »
INNERPARTYSYSTEM have remixed Ladyhawke’s current single ‘Paris Is Burning’ and have made it available to download for free.
Speaking of the remix, they have the following to say - “We started doing remixes as a way to keep busy and break up writing our own stuff. By chance we saw Lady Hawke at camden crawl, ‘Paris Is Burning’ really stuck in our head, and we thought we’d have a go trying something different with it.”
INNERPARTYSYSTEM are currently in the middle of a busy stint of live appearances in Europe including a storming set at Projekt Revolution with Jay-Z, Linkin Park and The Bravery on the weekend just gone and a forthcoming slot at the Wireless Festival.
This is being played a lot at theDish office and we recommend you download it!
